About Us
My name is Les Howington and I am the owner of IGC Home Services. I founded IGC in 1997 after making a decision to full fill a long time dream of owning a business that consisted of doing what I loved, woodworking. I had worked for several company's at which I didn't agree with their practices and made a decision that my company would always listen to the customer, provide quality services at reasonable prices and stand behind everything we did. Honesty and Integrity had to be #1.
I also knew that I didn't and couldn't know everything. One definition of "Jack" is one who does odd or heavy jobs; a laborer. A jack of all trades is just that, a jack and as the saying goes, "a master of none". I knew I had to build a team of professionals who were masters at their trade not just laborers or helpers. This way, when a job is done, it's done right. I am on every job site working alongside my guys. I ensure that the work is being done to the customers expectations, that my guys are providing professional results and the quality is second to none.
I was born and raised in Pineville, and currently reside there with my wife and 4 children in the downtown area. A third generation woodworker, I have nearly 20 years experience in the home repair business, as well a wealth of knowledge in all facets of carpentry and wood construction. I have also taken many courses on the subject of wood preservation and restoration, so that I stay up to date with current trends. I put my own personal stamp of approval on every project and will not go on to another job until the current one is completed.
IGC Home Services is a member of Angie's List and currently holds an A+ rating. IGC is frequently recognized for integrity and reliability with Angie's List members.

We currently staff 3 full time employees and 3 part time so no job is too big or too small. We have an extensive assortment of professional tools and equipment, including self contained trailers with generators to supply power.
